Meal Plan With Me | Start Of June 2020 - VIP ONLY VLOG

It’s crazy, it’s crazy, it’s crazy! Lol lol lol. Ok so homeschooling is coming to an end soon, but for now things are still as busy as ever. I fortunately have plenty of meals and meat in my freezer, so that is going to help me out immensely. The least amount of cooking the better so I have more time to get through the homeschooling and at least attempt to get to my house and work from home! Bulk food prep and keeping a good stockpile is essential, not only in case of emergencies, but for times like this right now too.

If you saw last fortnight my budget update, you would know that I increased my budget due to the changes happening in our country (the world) right now. This fortnight after sitting down and calculating the general grocery costs across the country I have made a more firm change in the method I use to calculate my grocery budget.  So my general rule is now $70 per adult (persons aged 14yrs+ because we all know that teenagers eat as much as adults at this point!) and $50 per child (under 14yrs) in the household is the main grocery shop budget for a fortnight. With then a flat $70 for the top up shop in the second week of the fortnight. So in total that is $310 for the fortnight for my family of 4.

Keeping all this mind my budget for my main shop is $240. I’m currently estimating that I will spend around $239, so be sure to watch the matching grocery haul to see if I stay under budget !
