My fridge, freezer and pantry are looking very bare! So I'm not only looking for things I need for the month, but also to do a little stockpiling if I can. I have no reason too but I would like to have a little extra in case things pop up unexpectedly ... be a little winter squirrel perhaps!
So for May I have a set budget of $400 for this months big grocery shop plus my usual $50 per week extras budget (usually adds up to $150 by the end of the month). So that would be a total of $550 for the entire month and just around $137 per week on average for our family of 4. My estimate is looking to be $405 for my big shop so thats a little over, however I usually over estimate so my hope is I will come under slightly :)
