SURPRISE! ..... There's going to be 4 MEAL PLAN WITH ME VLOGS for the month of March! As a last minute decision I've decided to go for the 4 week Flybuys deal offered to me. For me I need to spend at least $90 per week for 4 weeks to receive a BIG 10,000 points at the end. Those 10,000 points equals $50. By the time I claim a few boost points and other things they offer me on products along the way I'm hoping to end up with around $60-$70 at the end of the month. Without me spending any extra than I had already planned with my budget that extra $$$ is supurb!
Another change to share with you this month is that I have decided to up my 'monthly grocery haul' budget from $300 to $400. If you no aware $300 per month is my usual big grocery shop budget for the month and then I allow an extra $50 per week for the 3 weeks after for any 'extras' I may need. Those extra's are usually extra fresh fruit & veg, milk, things we unexpectedly run out of and any catalogue specials that pop up that I want to take advantage of. So as a total grocery budget for the month it is $450. With the budget change it will now be $400 for the main shopping plus $150 for the 'extras', So that comes to a total of $550.
However, because I am shopping weekly for the next 4 weeks I have taken that monthly budget and divided by 4 to set a weekly budget. So my weekly budget is around $137 per week. I do not have a 'extras' budget as its already included. So this week I've decided to go with $120 as the main shop budget with anything left over set aside in case I need it during the week.
